Nate and Emily Parks are working hard to bring sustainable local food to your table. They own and operate Silverthorn Farm, a small family farm in Rossville, Indiana – just outside of Lafayette. Their farm feeds many families through an innovative CSA membership program and supplies fresh, local ingredients to many restaurants – like the Snail of Approval favorite Napolese.
They are working to create a full circle farm, a diverse ecosystem, that relies on the delicate balance of plants, animals and soil health to produce healthy, delicious food. With over 200 varieties of produce and newly added meat production to their operation, they are becoming a one-stop slow food shop.
