That tax refund burning a hole in your pocket? Itching to spend it but can’t decide where? Well, we suggest you invest … in local food! Buy a CSA share – it’s good for you and the local food system!
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. These programs vary depending on the farm, but in general, you pay a fee that secures for you a share of the harvest directly from a farm. It’s an easy way to support local farmers and purchase a bulk quantity of quality food at a lower price.
Let’s make an investment in good, clean and fair food that will nourish your family all year long. When your tax refund hits your bank account, invest locally and live the Slow Food life all year round!
Please be sure to tell farmers that you heard about them through this promotion!
